Lyme Regis.

Just back from a lovely few days in Lyme Regis, a place I've never been to before.

Accommodation was the lovely Bay Hotel, literally minutes from the sea and better than I expected.

I took lots of photos, walked along the beach in both directions, enjoyed watching lots of the visiting dogs, ate some nice food, met some nice people, and enjoyed some glorious weather.

It's a small, quiet town, but that makes it great for a quiet getaway - although bad phone signal meant being a quieter getaway than I was expecting.

Definitely worth visiting and definitely on my list of places to visit again.

Until next time,

Dr Who, Series 6.

A new series of Dr Who graced our tv screens...
...And we're faced with the real death of the Dr, a whole new race of evil aliens that have been manipulating Human history, Amy Pond being pregnant and not being being pregnant, the meeting of the Dr and Prof River Song, and a regenerating little girl.

A scary story with lots going on, but I'm just a little concerned that it's trying to be too clever and might end up with a mess.

Time will tell...

Hail To The King !!

Another event at the Resistance Gallery, Bethnal Green.

This event to celebrate the artwork of Jack Kirby, known as the originator of several Marvel Comics' characters and an artist with a special style, instantly recognisable.

There were many people there, an auction of original artwork, lots of art in several styles and a good time was had by all !!

I got to take some photos and meet some new people [Hello to Greg and Jason Atomic !!], so the event was a good one for me, on several levels.

Until the next time,

Bournemouth

I've only been to Bournemouth a few times before, so I had some idea of what to expect, but this time I booked into a Travel Lodge just a few minutes from the promenade.

I took some photos, had some great food [Coriander is a great mexican restaurant - mmmm], and did quite a lot of walking on the beaches.

It was rather chilly, so I was glad of my long, warm, Bugatti coat - mmmm, warm and toasty.

There was lots of dogs being walked, which is always a nice thing to see.

Overall, it was nice to have a break for just a few days and recharge my mental and spiritual batteries...
...And I look forward to more visits later in the year, when the weather is warm.

Until next time,
Peter
